The treatment facility is open and providing services.  However, ADA is restriciting access to employees only.  The Texas City business office is open 8:00am - 12:00pm Monday-Thursday.
Provides licensed residential substance abuse treatment for women living in coastal Texas.  Women return to their homes and families with the tools for living in sobriety.
Advocacy Center for Children of Galveston County

The Advocacy Center for Children of Galveston County is currently providing service during regular business hours. 
The Advocacy Center facilitates agency collaboration regarding the prevention, investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse cases in a neutral and child-friendly environment.

Bay Area Council Boy Scouts of America

Boy Scouts of America have ceased all face-to-face meetings of all scouts.  They are providing electronic suggestions to our Scouting families on how to engage their youth members and providing electronic communication on in-home Scouting projects to continue their children's Scouting program.

Big Brothers & Big Sisters Gulf Coast

Big Brothers/Big Sisters Gulf Coast office team is working remotely.  The Bigs/Littles are communicating with each other during this time and keeping engaged as much as possible.
Provides youths from single parent homes with positive adult role models for encouragement, friendship, social skills development and academic achievement through one-to-one mentoring.

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Galveston County (CASA)

CASA's home office is currently closed, however, phone calls and emails are still being answered.  The CASA team is still working with all of the current clients and cases are still being assigned to the team.
Provides trained volunteers to act as Guardians Ad Litem to abused and neglected children, and provides information to the court concerning the children's best interest.

The Nessler Senior Program is currently closed to the seniors.  The Senior Program will be providing shelf stable meals, telephone reassurance/support and one-on-one special needs on case-by-case basis.

All FSC Therapists have completed a 26-hour Telehealth training to build our capacity to provide Telephone and Video therapy services.  FSC Therapists have contacted their clients and offered Telehealth services to them and are providing telephone sessions at this time. Galveston County Food Bank

The GCFB on site pantry at 624 4th Avenue in Texas City is only allowing two people in the front lobby at a time to check-in or register.  Then the individuals go back outside to a second door to receive prepackaged groceries.  At this time, clients are not allowed in to the pantry to select items themselves.  At mobile truck distribution sites, where feasible, they will implement a drive-up model so clients do not get out of their cars.  The clients at mobiles also do not have to physically sign to receive services at this time to limit contact and to implement social distancing.  GCFB is also working with various entities to add additional mobile truck distribution sites.
Helps those who fight hunger by providing easy access to nutritional food, personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies for the economically disadvantaged and under served residents of Galveston County.

The Independence Village is currently operating its residential services program.  They are also open to taking new clients.  The Village is currently on lockdown and is not taking visitors at this time.
Provides a safe, affordable residential assisted living facility for adults with developmental or physical challenges.  It is a happy home that fosters independent lifestyles and community involvement.
Interfaith Caring Ministries

The ICM office and food pantry are both open at this time; but new policies are in place to protect their clients, office & pantry staff and volunteers.  The office hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm; and Friday 8:30am - 1:00pm; pantry hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 1:00pm.  The office door will stay propped open during client appointment times to avoid contact.  The pantry will be delivering the donated items to the client's vehicle rather than have the client enter the pantry building.  All required documents are being emailed ahead of time to our staff; rather than the transfer of paper documents during the client appointment.

The Salvation Army offices are working regular business hours.  At this time only the evening meal has changed, the meal service program begins at 4:30pm, only 30 people at a time to ensure social distance in the dining hall.
