Student UW

You can change your community and the world through Student United Way. If you’re a high school or college student, we’ll help you organize your peers to tackle pressing social problems in your own backyard.

Student United Way is a student-led community change organization.  Student leaders improve people's lives, develop leadership skills, and join the growing United Way movement by giving, advocating, and volunteering on campus and in the community.  Upon graduation, student leaders of United Way campus charters join an alumni network that helps them stay involved in community change for the long term.

The Student United Way Clubs in Galveston County are making huge impacts to individuals, families and senior citizens in the areas of Health, Education and Financial Stability. We are excited to see so many local high school students getting involved in our community!  Student United Way is a GREAT opportunity to make change, meet people and get leadership experience. We currently have Student United Way Clubs at the following Campuses:
