Cory Moss currently serves the employees of the Valero Texas City Refinery as Vice President and General Manager. As a member of the Valero team since 2001, his various positions have given him experience in planning and economics, mergers and acquisitions, and Operations, Technical and Maintenance management. His entire professional career has been in the refining industry. Cory also served in the Army National Guard and is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He was born in and spent his early life in the southern Louisiana town of Abbeville retaining a passion for cooking and enjoys fellowship and good food. He is a 1993 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Cory has been married to Jody since 1993 and has 3 children, Braden, Collin and Victoria. He currently gives back to the community through service on the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts Bay Area Council, Executive Board of the TCLM Chamber as well as the Executive Board as Vice President for United Way Galveston County Mainland. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
